1979 Fender Fretless Precision Bass - Natural P Bass - Rosewood w/ Case
So.... if you have a fretless Precision Bass, wouldn't it technically be an Approximate Bass?
Or maybe an Imprecision Bass?
For your consideration, a 1978/79 Fender Fretless P Bass in Natural. This great bass is relatively clean. The pots have been replaced and there is an extra set of thumbrest mounting holes in the body, but otherwise it is original and unmodified. The extra holes have been filled but not refinished. The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, the rosewood fingerboard is nice and dark and not chewed up by roundwounds. The factory pickup is potent! This bass has a late 1978 serial number and an early 1979 neck pocket date. The warmth and soul that oozes from my amp when I play this bass is truly special. This one has a great growl to it, and handles lots of styles of music with ease. Freshly setup, this one plays great, intonates as it should, and is a blast to play. This one weighs in at 11 lbs and 12 ounces, with the chrome covers installed. Fresh chrome flatwound strings are installed.
Includes a newer hardshell case.
