Taks' from this era are our favorites because they're reliable, they sound fantastic, and they are relatively affordable to buy and affordable to maintain. They're workhorses! Made in Japan! Solid woods!
This one is 100% original, aside from a replaced and upgraded preamp system. They stock preamp in these is known for failing due to leaking capacitors. They're fixable, but the best option for reliability and usability is an upgrade to a newer Takamine unit, and so that's what we did! We chose a brand new CT-4BII preamp for this guitar, with a built-in tuner.
This guitar shows no signs of abuse, just normal light playwear. No cracks, no signs of repair, no brace issues, no neck angle issues, and no signs of previous or pending bridge failures. Freshly setup and restrung, this one is ready to be played! The original hardshell case is included.
