Whoa! Check this one out! This one-of-a-kind Esquire started life as a brown 2002 Fender Mexican '72 Reissue Thinline. It was given a pro paint job in a color that we were told was Surf Green but it looks more like Sonic Blue to us. The neck pickup was removed and a cool metal pickguard was made to cover the cavity. The guts have been upgraded to CTS pots and an orange drop cap. The bridge, tuners, knobs, and neck plate have all been replaced with nice relic'd hardware to complete the look! Freshly setup with a .25 neck shim and Ernie Ball Paradigm strings! Low action, fast neck!
This sweet guitar was originally made and sold to raise funds for Guitars 4 Vets. It was purchased by Chris Robertson of Black Stone Cherry, before ending up in our possession. To make the guitar the gift that keeps on giving, we will be donating the proceeds from the sale of this guitar back to Guitars 4 Vets!!!
There is a small damaged spot on the rear, lower, portion. See photos! No case is included!
