2003 Fender Jazz Bass - Daphne Blue - Highway One
Fender hit a homerun with the Highway One series. 20 years later, these still remain one of the best options for a vintage-inspired instrument that is made in the USA and won't break the bank. Our favorite feature that the Hwy 1 has is a real nitro lacquer finish. They just sound better, feel better, and look better. Best of all, they wear like a true vintage instrument. Take a look at this 2003 Jazz Bass and how gracefully and tastefully it has aged and matured. At first glance, it looks like a really clean early 1960's bass. Rad!
This one is 100% original and unmodified. The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, fretwear is almost non-existent, and the original electronics work flawlessly. The super thin nitro finish has worn down in a few spots and the wood underneath shines through beautifully. This bass plays and sounds fantastic thanks to a fresh complete setup from our pro shop and a new set of flatwounds. Wooly 60's tones all day long from this one! Daphne blue looks killer on a Jazz Bass and you know it!
A hardshell case is included. One side of it has a wavy top panel, but the case still works great.
