Unique Looks, Iconic Tone

Boasting iconic Danelectro tone and a unique look to match, the Danelectro Longhorn Guitar will definitely get you noticed on stage. The deep double cutaways offer impressive access to the entire 21-fret neck. A pair of single-coil lipstick pickups serve up all the jangle and twang you'd expect from a '60s original. And stacked volume/tone controls — one for each pickup — give you a world of sonic combinations to explore. Best of all, modern advancements like a dual-action truss rod, an aluminum nut, and an adjustable hardtail bridge deliver better playability than the originals did. Whether you seek a vintage look, or the classic Danelectro experience, you'll be impressed with the Danelectro Longhorn Guitar.

Twin lipstick pickups with individual controls

Vibrantly chiming and delightfully jangly, the single-coil lipstick pickups in the Danelectro Longhorn Guitar deliver the classic character these distinctive pickups are known for — no surprise considering Danelectro pioneered the use of lipstick pickups back in the day. Guitarists at Cumberland Guitars love how these pickups sound with overdrive or even heavy fuzz, and they clean up beautifully too. For even more sonic appeal, each pickup has individual controls for volume and tone to let you explore sonic combinations not possible with three-way switching on its own.

Instantly identifiable Dano looks and sound

The classic Dano look and sound may be every bit as familiar around the world as just about any other guitar design out there. It may have not sold the numbers other classic electric guitar designs have, but you've heard it on hundreds of records. Built with its feet firmly in the vintage design of the older Danos, the Longhorn Guitar still offers you the ability to go from really old-school Nashville twang to modern fuzzed-out garage rock. And you'll look the part no matter what your tone calls for.

Construction updates for modern reliability

Like a great many vintage guitar designs, older Danos can sometimes fall victim to reliability issues. But you'll be able to gig your Longhorn Guitar without worry, thanks to modern updates that bring the guitar up to today's high-quality standards. You'll get great intonation up and down the neck with the intonation-adjustable hardtail bridge. And, while it's unfortunately missing in the older instruments, you get an adjustable truss rod to make sure your Longhorn Guitar's neck stays straight and plays true.

This is a brand new guitar, sold by an Authorized Danelectro Dealer!
