The Royal Crown 5 is a GA-5 which is essentially a Champ, but with higher gain and colder bias in both stages of the pre-amp, and reduced negative feedback which increases gain. It has a Canadian-made Hammond power transformer and chassis, a new Jensen P6R. 8 ohm. The extension speaker jack on the back will defeat the internal speaker. True point-to-point wiring with no turret or eyelet boards. All tubes new. JJ 12AX7, Tung-Sol 6V6GT,and JJ EZ81 rectifier. Crate is 1960s vintage oak.
