This one is a survivor, and a good-looking one at that. The sunburst finish is beautiful, and it has that warm, percussive, thumpy, wooly voice we love from these old archtops.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe tuners have been replaced with an older set of Klusons, and the bridge has been swapped for a Tune-o-matic-style adjustable unit. It has also had a neck reset. The reset is not the prettiest work we have seen, but it is structurally solid and the guitar is fully playable as it sits.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLike many old archtops in this price range, it could be made even better with a little bridge work and fine-tuning, but it is enjoyable right now and has plenty of old Kay character.
