Grammy Winning Writer and Producer, Dave Burgess, visits Cumberland Guitars
Most known for the 1959 #1 single, "Tequila", by: The Champs, the professional music career of Dave Burgess started in 1953 and is still rolling strong in 2022. Dave was here in beautiful Southern Kentucky working on a new album and needed to find a special guitar for the session. The locals pointed him towards us, where he picked out a fantastic new acoustic. It was such a great surprise to have Dave and his family in the store, and we can't wait to pick his brain some more about those early Fenders and winning a trophy at the first-ever Grammy Awards.
