The Lone Star Deluxe was the Made-in-Mexico version of the US-built Lone Star Strat that debuted in the 1990s. It's a no-brainer model.....take the Standard Strat and add a pair of Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single coils and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates to make is a Blues Rock beast, right out of the box! Alder body, C-shaped neck, rosewood fingerboard...it's a winner. This one is in mostly original condition. The strap button hardware was replaced, everything else is original. Yes, the Black ones with the Tortoiseshell pickguard came with a White rear cavity cover!!! The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, and fretwear is minimal and not affecting intonation or playability. The humbucker bobbin has a small crack, but works perfectly and shows no signs of failing anytime soon. The body has a few dings and scuffs, but it's a 14-year of Strat that has been played. No signs of abuse, just normal wear and tear on this one. Freshly setup and restrung, it plays great with low action and a floating trem. The trem arm is included. No case!
