1979 Hondo II HLP-2N Natural LP-Style
Hondo sure was making some cool stuff in the late 1970s. We're fans of the budget-friendly imported LP copies from this era (after the lawsuit models) and the Hondo II stuff rarely disappoints. This HLP-2N from 1979 is the most original example we have had our hands on in a very long time. So many of these have needed replacement parts or had a host of upgrades over their lifespan, so clean ones like this are getting harder to find. This one is 100% original aside from the toggle switch ring and knobs. No modifications. No repairs. No excuses! None of the solder joints have been broken or reflowed and all electronics work as they should. The neck is straight, the truss rod works, and the guitar plays fantastic! These are some of the last real bargains in the vintage guitar market!
