2020 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Special - BFR - Ball Family Reserve - 5 String - Ginger Burst Sparkle w/Case

We always tune-in when a new Ball Family Reserve (BFR) drop is announced, because that's where the best stuff exists. Small batches of unique colors and interesting combinations of features...that's the sweet spot. This killer Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Special 5-String is from the February 2020 BFR lineup and is one of only 89 total instruments that were built for global consumption.  

This bass is 100% stock, aside from a white selector switch tip, but don't worry, the original black tip is also included. There are no modifications, except for a small decal on the pickguard. This can be easily removed if needed. We left it on because it does not bother us. The bass has no modifications and no repairs, just regular routine maintenance. It was been properly stored and has low miles. You'll have to look really closely to see any signs of use. It has been played, but still qualifies as super clean. The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, and the stock electronics work as they should. This bass thumps! The Ginger Burst Sparkle finish is pretty cool and unlike anything else we've had pass through our hands. It wraps around to the rear of the bass and down the neck, ending in a paint-matched headstock. It's hard to photograph...it really "pops" in person!  This beauty weighs in at 8lbs, 5oz.  Nice and light!  The Okoume body and lightweight hardware really made this one super comfortable, especially for a 5-string with a full paint job!  The bass has been fully setup and restrung, and plays great with low action.
