2023 Fender Custom Shop '56 Strat HT GH - Relic - Super Faded Tahitian Coral - S23 Limited Edition w/OHSC

For your consideration, a 2023 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition ’56 Hardtail Stratocaster Relic in Super Faded Tahitian Coral with Closet Classic gold hardware. This is one of only two guitars built with these specifications for Fender Custom Shop’s S23 Limited Edition run, and it is an absolute standout.

We get a steady flow of killer Custom Shop Fenders through the store, so it takes a lot for one to really separate itself from the pack. This one does. It is light, expressive, responsive, and has all of the snap and immediacy that makes a great hardtail Strat its own thing. The two-piece ash body is paired with a maple neck featuring Fender’s 11/56 off-center “V” profile, 21 medium-vintage frets, and a trio of 11/56 Strat pickups with an RWRP middle pickup.

The Super Faded Tahitian Coral Relic finish with Closet Classic gold hardware is stunning in person. Photos really do not do this combination justice. It is a refreshing departure from the Fiesta Reds and Shell Pinks we see so often on vintage-inspired Strats, and the gold hardware suits it perfectly.

The guitar is all original aside from one simple and very useful wiring modification that gives the bridge pickup a tone control. It is easily reversible, and if you would prefer it returned to factory wiring, just let us know when purchasing and we will take care of it.

It has been freshly set up and restrung by our Fender-authorized repair shop and is playing beautifully with low action. A mountain of original case candy is included, along with the paperwork, Certificate of Authenticity, Custom Shop floor traveler, and original Fender Custom Shop hardshell case.
