2025 Elliott Guitars B57 Bass - Shell Pink - w/Gig Bag

For your consideration, a 2025 Elliott B57 mid-scale bass in Shell Pink with soft case. First, just take in the outfit. Shell Pink, tortoiseshell pickguard, gold-foil pickups, and teacup knobs. This bass showed up dressed for the occasion.

Underneath all that swagger is a seriously well-made instrument with a distinctive offset body, a comfortable 32-inch scale, and one of the best-feeling necks we have had our hands on in a while. The body is alder, specially ordered with Elliott’s roasting treatment, while the roasted maple neck is paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The fit and finish are impressive, and the compact proportions make it comfortable and easy to move around on.

This B57 was completed on February 11, 2025, and is only the sixth one built. Elliott guitars are handmade to order, one at a time, with the current quoted build time sitting around a year or more. It is a rare bass from a small builder, but more importantly, it is a blast to play.

The Elliott custom-wound gold-foil pickups are arranged in an H/S configuration, with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The two forward knobs are the volume controls, and the rear pair handle tone. With the toggle in the middle position, both pickups are active and the controls interact with one another, giving you a surprising amount of room to blend and shape the sound. The Elliott hardtail bridge keeps everything simple and solid.

The tortoiseshell guard currently installed was made by Elliott and looks fantastic against the Shell Pink finish. The original mint green pickguard is also included. The original output jack developed an issue and was replaced with the same type of jack. Otherwise, the bass remains as built.

It has just been freshly set up and restrung and plays fantastic. The included extras are the soft case, spare strings, the certificate, adjustment tool, and Elliott rubber strap blocks.

Handmade, 32-inch scale, loaded with personality, and only the sixth B57 out the door. Bold little thing. We dig it.
