Cumberland Guitars - Embroidered Deluxe Teardrop Electric Guitar Case - Black / Orange
One of the small pleasures of the guitar business is that we occasionally find vintage guitars that are in cases or gig bags that proudly show the logos of old guitar shops. If it's a shop we have never heard of, we always look them up. We're just into guitar shops, you know?
After YEARS of handling so many instruments with cool cases from cool guitar shops, we decided to get in on the action. We searched for the right cases to use... the traditional wood and Tolex hardshell cases are just outdated: they're heavy, bulky, expensive, and unfortunately not as strong and resistant to bumps and falls as one would expect. Standard issue gig bags are much more portable but not anywhere near protective enough, especially for nicer instruments. When we found these Deluxe Teardop Bags from Henry Heller, we were instantly hooked!
These bags are lightweight and nimble. The handle is designed to make the case balance perfectly in the hand, and the rear padding keeps it in place when carried with the included backpack straps. A 600D Cordura exterior, 35mm of heavy foam padding, and heavy duty zippers mean that it is road-ready and built to last. There are three zippered compartments on the outside. Inside, there is a removable foam core padded strip that can be positioned wherever you need to make your instrument fit snugly, and movable neck rest with a Velcro strap to keep your instrument in-place. It's a well-designed case, and we're proud to offer it to our customers. The case is black, with a white embroidered Cumberland Guitars logo on the front. This universal electric guitar case has an Orange interior.
