1980 Hondo II Professional Bass H-1015 - MIJ - Antique Violin Brown

For your consideration, a 1980 Hondo II Professional H-1015 Bass in Antique Violin Brown. These Made-in-Japan Hondo Professional models are a step above what many people expect when they hear the name. This one has the right late-’70s/early-’80s Japanese look, with the double-cut body, matching headstock, and warm violin-style finish.

This bass has low miles and has clearly been well cared for. It remains 100% original, with no signs of abuse and only a few minor dings in the finish. None of them go through to the bare wood. The neck is straight, the truss rod works as it should, and fretwear is minimal. The original electronics are working perfectly.

And no, this is not one of the DiMarzio-equipped versions. We checked.

It has been freshly set up and restrung and is ready to play. Just a clean, honest, Japanese-made Hondo with a cool look and a lot of life left in it. No case is included.
