Classic JEM looks, fast Ibanez feel, and a ton of guitar for the money.
This is a 2022 Ibanez Steve Vai JEM Jr. (JEMJRBK) in Black, and it’s a clean, low-mileage example with no signs of abuse. The only non-original part is a replacement chrome tremolo arm.
Cosmetically, there are some light scratches in the finish in the typical spots (see photos), but nothing deep and nothing through the finish.
The neck is straight, the electronics work flawlessly, the trem floats nicely, and it was just given a fresh setup with new strings. Action is low and comfortable, and it plays exactly how a JEM-style guitar should: fast, smooth, and ready to shred.
