1966 Harmony H400A Tube Combo Amp - Serviced + Safe To Use
For your consideration, a 1966 Harmony H400A tube combo amp. These are neat little combos that tend to sound better than most people expect. They have a lot of charm, a lot of character, and a voice that punches above their weight in a very satisfying way.
This one has seen some use, but it does not appear to have been neglected or abused. It has not been wet, and there are no unpleasant smells to worry about. More importantly, legendary amp builder Bob Hunter of Hunter Amplifiers went through this one and made sure it was ready for real use. The original unsafe two-wire setup has been properly addressed, the amp has been grounded correctly with a three-prong power cable, and any capacitors and resistors that had drifted out of spec were replaced as needed.
The end result is a safe, reliable, killer-sounding little vintage made-in-America tube combo that is ready to be enjoyed.
