For your consideration, an SKB PS-45 powered pedalboard. These were a pretty clever all-in-one solution when they came out, and honestly, they still cover a lot of ground for not a lot of money. Built-in power supply, patch bay, power conditioner, and one of the handiest features of all: three onboard electrical outlets. It may look a little dated now, but there is still a lot of practical usefulness packed into this thing.
We have a soft spot for these because they actually worked in the real world. One of us gigged with one for years, playing close to 200 shows a year, and those extra outlets came in handy for everything from a fan to a fog machine to charging somebody’s phone when they were in a bind. It was a whole pile of solutions in one box then, and it still makes a lot of sense now for the right player.
This one has seen some miles, and it shows honest cosmetic wear on the molded hardshell exterior, but there are no cracks and no warping. One of the latches is detached. Replacements are available, or a handy owner may be able to bend this one back into service. The lid still stays secure with the other three latches, but if you are planning serious road use, you will probably want to address that. The power cable has been replaced with a sturdier, longer, properly grounded cable. All jacks and outlets have been tested and are working exactly as they should. The original pouch of cables is included and appears to be mostly unused.
