The 1986 Chandler Electric Guitar in Shoreline Gold Metallic is a true gem that embodies the essence of the original super-Strat and partscaster era. Crafted for Far-Out Music in Indiana—a now-closed establishment—this guitar is a testament to the craftsmanship of one of the industry's leading names. The instrument features a 1000 Series Ash Stratocaster body with the unique paint code GB1014, providing a stunning aesthetic. Its 600 Series Maple Telecaster neck boasts an extra-thin profile, big frets, and a luxurious Rosewood fingerboard. The truss rod works in both directions. Overall, the guitar is in great shape. It has some playwear, but much less than average, considering the age. It was in a properly climate controlled home. It's a one-owner guitar! Original Dimarzio tuners, a heavy brass bridge, and a Gold Mirror acrylic pickguard (with typical small spiderweb cracks at some of the holes) complete the vintage look. Equipped with EMG active single-coil pickups, this Chandler guitar delivers a classic 80s Super Strat sound while maintaining authenticity—right down to the original "Paul C" markings and stickers. All three CTS pots date to 1986, and none of the solder joints have ever been broken or touched up. Professionally set up and restrung, this guitar offers low action for effortless playability. It comes with a newer Ibanez hardshell case and the original tremolo arm and an old strap, making it an exceptional find for collectors and enthusiasts of this iconic era.
