1995 Washburn D95 Limited Edition Dreadnought

Only 1,995 of these were produced in 1995, so there simply aren’t a ton of them floating around. We did the math… there should be about 1,994 others besides this one.

Washburn was turning out some great limited runs in this era, and the D95 is a good example. It features a solid spruce top paired with laminate back and sides, dressed up with tasteful inlay work on the fingerboard and headstock that gives it just enough flair without going over the top.

This one has been played — and we all know those are usually the ones that sound the best. It’s all original aside from a nice set of brass and abalone bridge pins. No cracks and no signs of previous structural repairs. It does have dings, scratches, and scuffs. The finish is hazy in spots on the back, but it could be buffed out if those things bother you. It’s over 30 years old and it was used as intended. Honest wear, no abuse.

Freshly restrung and setup in our shop. The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, and fretwear is minimal. It has strong volume and a clear, balanced dreadnought voice.

A soundhole pickup is included if you’d like to plug in. A molded hardshell case also comes with it. The interior liner has been removed and the foam is exposed, so it’s not winning any beauty contests, but structurally it does its job. If you’re even a little handy, it would be an easy refresh.
