2011 Fender American Standard Telecaster – Crimson Red Transparent
A straightforward, honest workhorse Telecaster in a color you don’t see every day.
This 2011 Fender American Standard Telecaster wears a Crimson Red Transparent finish over an ash body, paired with the classic maple neck and fingerboard that so many players gravitate toward. It’s a sharp look—deep red with just enough transparency to let the grain show through—and a color we actually see far more often on early-2000s American Deluxe models than on American Standards. It’s a subtle detail, but it makes this one stand out from the sea of typical Tele finishes.
Condition is exactly what most players hope for when shopping for a used American Standard. The guitar shows some light playwear consistent with normal use, but there are no dings through the finish and no signs of abuse. It’s simply been played and taken care of.
Everything remains 100% original with no modifications. The frets show only minimal wear and are not affecting intonation or playability in any way. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly in both directions, and all electronics—including the selector switch and controls—operate exactly as they should.
Our Fender-authorized on-site shop has given the guitar a proper setup and installed a fresh set of strings, so it’s dialed in and ready to go. Like any good American Standard Telecaster, it delivers that familiar balance of snap, clarity, and reliability that makes these such dependable tools for working musicians.
Whether you’re looking for a gigging Tele, a studio staple, or just a solid everyday guitar in a slightly uncommon finish, this one checks all the boxes.
The original Fender hardshell case is included.
