For your consideration, a sweet J-15 that hits that nice middle ground Gibson doesn’t always get enough credit for. Same slope-shoulder feel we all love, but with walnut back and sides paired to a spruce top, which gives it its own thing—clear, woody, a little different from the usual suspects in the lineup.

This one is all original with no parts swapped out. The bridge and bridge plate have both been professionally reglued, addressing the common “bellyache” issue these can develop over time. That work is already done here, and done right, so you’re not inheriting the problem—you’re inheriting the solution.

Neck angle is spot on, the neck is straight, truss rod works both directions, and fretwear is minimal with no impact on playability or intonation. It’s been freshly restrung and setup by our Gibson-certified in-house repair shop, and it’s playing with nice low action. Plugged in, the original electronics sound exactly like they should.

Cosmetically, it’s got some honest dings and scuffs, but nothing out of line or pointing to abuse. There’s a small “3” written in Sharpie on the back of the headstock and the case—looks like a previous owner liked to keep things numbered. It’s already fading, which we’re not mad about.

No cracks, no lingering structural issues, no touch-ups—just a solid, well-sorted Gibson that’s ready to go.
