Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass – Sea Foam Green Sparkle – One of One
Here’s a rare one.
This Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass comes finished in Sea Foam Green Sparkle, a color that you just aren't going to see any more of. The included Certificate of Authenticity lists the instrument as 1 of 2, but according to Ernie Ball Music Man’s own records—and confirmed directly by our EBMM rep—this guitar is actually a true one-of-one build.
The finish itself is a really cool take on metalflake. Normally when we think of metalflake finishes, they tend to be loud, flashy, and over the top. This one goes a different direction. The sparkle is there, but it’s subtle and tasteful—more refined than wild. Under stage lights it wakes up nicely, but in normal light it just looks pleasantly unique. We dig it.
Condition is excellent with only very light signs of use and no signs of abuse. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly in both directions, and fretwear is absolutely minimal with no impact on intonation or playability.
A Hipshot Xtender has been installed on the low E string, allowing instant access to Drop D tuning with a quick flip of the lever. The original tuner is included if the next owner prefers to return it to factory spec. Two additional pickguards—a black and a white—are also included with the sale, giving you a few different visual directions to experiment with. Aside from those additions, the instrument remains completely stock.
It has just been freshly setup and restrung, and it’s playing beautifully. These Cutlass models are known for their smooth feel, stability, and versatility, and this example delivers exactly what you’d expect from a high-end Music Man instrument.
The original hardshell case is included along with a generous stack of paperwork and case candy.
