Kepma D1-120AAB Elite Series Dreadnaught Acoustic Electric w/AcoustiFex w/Case

For your consideration, a brand new Kepma D1-120AAB Elite Series Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric in Antiqueburst with the AcoustiFex pickup/effects system and deluxe hardshell case. If Kepma is still a new name to you, this is a pretty convincing introduction. This is a legitimately high-end, all-solid dreadnought with a AAA solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a fantastic playing feel right out of the case.

The guitar itself sounds big, detailed, and balanced, with the familiar power you want from a rosewood dreadnought without becoming muddy or boomy. The Antiqueburst finish looks fantastic and gives it a little more personality than another natural-finish dread hanging on the wall.

Then there is the AcoustiFex system. This is more than an acoustic pickup. You can add reverb, chorus, and delay to the guitar while sitting on the couch completely unplugged, with the effects actually coming through the instrument itself. Plug it into an amp, PA, or recording rig and you also get an undersaddle piezo, onboard condenser microphone with blend control, and the onboard effects. It sounds like a gimmick until you spend a few minutes with one, and then it becomes very easy to understand why people like it.

Kepma also puts some serious effort into the details on the Elite Series: a smooth satin mahogany neck reinforced with dual carbon-fiber rods, Graph Tech TUSQ nut and triple-compensated saddle, gold 18:1 tuners, and a factory PLEK fret and nut setup.

This one is brand new and includes its deluxe Kepma/TKL hardshell case. A whole lot of acoustic guitar for the money, and the AcoustiFex system makes it unlike just about anything else hanging next to it.
