Lyman LJ-300 J-Style - Wilkinson Equipped - Electric Bass - Sunburst - w/Gig Bag

For your consideration, a brand new Lyman LJ-300 in 3-Tone Sunburst. Think of this as the upgraded take on the LJ-150, with a little more refinement, a little more punch, and a seriously useful set of Wilkinson J-style single coils.

The lightweight basswood body is paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard, with a substantial Fat “C” profile, 10-inch radius, and medium-jumbo frets. The necks are hand-sanded and treated for a smooth, buttery feel, and the satin finish keeps things comfortable without feeling sticky.

A pair of Wilkinson M-Series J-style pickups gives the LJ-300 plenty of clarity and bite while still delivering a strong, authoritative low end. Punchy, crisp, and a little more aggressive than the average budget J-style bass — crispier than a McDonald’s Sprite, if you will.

Hardware includes die-cast 4-in-line tuners, a vintage-style bridge, and chrome hardware. These are assembled in Lyman, South Carolina, and this one has been freshly set up and restrung in our shop with low action. Gig Bag included! 

This is a brand new Lyman instrument being sold by an Authorized Lyman Dealer. It is also NOS — New Old Stock — from a model that is no longer being manufactured. Once these are gone, they are gone. Because these are NOS instruments, minor cosmetic blemishes from storage or handling may be present.
