Peavey Max126 - 10-watt - Bass Combo Practice Amp
For your consideration, a Peavey MAX 126 10-watt bass combo practice amp. This is a cheap little practice amp, and we want to be clear about what you are getting.
The amp works, but the High/Treble control pot was broken and we were unable to source a proper replacement. Our amp tech tried a few fixed values, picked the one that sounded best to our ears, and hardwired that setting in place. A dummy knob was installed to fill the original control location, so the High knob no longer adjusts anything.
Everything else functions as it should, and the amp is completely usable as a basic practice combo. It actually sounds pretty decent for what it is, but again, this is an inexpensive amp with a repaired, fixed treble setting and is priced accordingly.
